Agbani Darego for "Native and Vogue" - Port Harcourt International Fashion Week

 All is set for this year’s edition of Port Harcourt International Fashion Week themed Native & Vogue, which holds from September 19 to 21.

Speaking on the state’s preparedness for the event, the Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Ibim Semenitari, stated that the govern­ment is powering the project in partner­ship with the private sector because of its commitment to restoring the state to its place of glory and make it a destination of choice for business, tourism, fashion and entertainment.
Among the international designers who will be showcasing their works at the 3 day fashion event are Malcolm Kluk & Christian Gabriel Du Toit, Shaldon Kop­man and Ade Bakare. Others are Yemi Osunkoya of Kosibah Creations, Luis Jimi ‘De Laja and Agbani Darego.

Top Nigeria based designers who will also be showcasing their works are Frank Osodi, Zizi Cardow, Yomi Casual, Amos Ejiro Tafiri, Oluwagbon Oshinowo, Valentine Ejimakor and Princess Peaceful Owoghiri.

The 2014 Port Harcourt International Fashion Week will be hosted by Kate Henshaw and Uti Nwachukwu. Tuface Idibia, Cobhams, Chidimma and Kcee are performing acts for the event.

Date: Friday 19th - Sunday 21st September, 2014
Time: 6pm Daily
Venue: The Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt.
