More than 40 local and international designers featured their latest lines of eclectic apparel designs at the just held edition of Zimbabwe Fashion Week 2014.
Themed as Afrocentrica, the four-day-long Harare-held soirée witnessed an African, Asian and western patterns infused collection by Thembani Mubochwa, the South Africa-settled Zimbabwean designer and founder of the Durban-based brand TZM Fashion House. The range included a leather heavy womenswear line with decorative necklines and some kasoka apparels for pastors and preachers.
The South African design talent Leigh Schubert featured a symmetrically created clothing line replete with black, orange and neon yellow hued stripes while designer Sarudzai Murungu chose to showcase a feminine range in a soothing light palette adorned with stripes and geometric lines.
