Suzan Mutesi, Artistic Director and Founder of the “Suzan Mutesi Fashion House” was the winner of the “Icon of the Year Award” 2014. According to the Committee, this award was given to one whose style has made a tremendous impact on fashion, entertainment and culture in Australia and beyond. The night consisted of live performances from artists such as: Adira Belle (X Factor finalist), Mike Champion, Soli Tesema and Thando Sikwila from The Voice and many more.
Hosted by Anne Kansiime who entertained the audience alongside Pascal Atuma, the 2014 AAMMA was a great success. The event was attended by American Actress Vivica Fox and Nigerian Actor Ramsey Nouah who both were the special guests for the soiree. One of the biggest highlights of the night was, definitely, the awarding of the “Lifetime Achievement Award” to Hollywood Actress Vivica Fox.
Earlier this year, Suzan Mutesi launched the “Heart of Gold Africa Foundation,” which is proactively involved in helping the less fortunate of our society.
