The Nigerian entertainment industry is one of the versatile sectors of the economy which keeps growing in leaps and bounds. Never has there ever seem to be a dearth of talent particularly on the music scene. Industry watchers have their work cut out for them as Adisa Jamiu popularly called Jarmeu, a promising talent from Ilorin Kwara state comes on board.
Right now, his name might not ring a bell just like it has always been with previous debutants now super stars like Wizkid ,Phyno and others.
The handsome and talented Adisa developed passion for music as a teenager while growing up in Ilorn. This led him to set up a mini-studio with the name DrumDealarz. Under DrumDealarz, he recorded lot of upcoming artists and worked on many radio jingles. He was one of the founding members of the Defunct NCS clan in Ilorin.
Venturing into music at an age where common-play and generic rhythms are the order of the day has challenged Jarmeu to evaluate where he stands. Jarmeu has two sides to his style of music the philosophical/motivational and the sex appeal /commercial style for the ladies and Party Marshals. After staying off the radar for a while and renewing his contract with U.K label, DeeRS Tunes, Jarmeu bounces back on the scene with a highlife filled afro-pop tune "ILEKE".
From the snippet of “ILEKE” produced by Kiddominant, the versatile song writer, singer, sound engineer and producer shows that he is geared up to give everyone a run for their money as he has vowed to the creed of delivering quality content like he did on the 2013 radio hit "E no Easy".
With the full audio of “ILEKE” and a video directed by ace video conceptualist AJE Filmworks, set to be released next week, it is crystal clear that JARMEU is a name to watch out for in 2015 as there is no relenting for him this time. juliablaise.com
