Gov Amaechi, Rivers APC members hold Thanksgiving Sevice in Honour of God’s Faithfulness

The Greater Together Campaign Organisation on Sunday gathered together thousands of it’s supporters to the new Obi Wali International Conference Centre in Port Harcourt in celebration of the goodness of God before, during and after the the 2015 federal and state elections.

Speaking at the event, Dr Dakuku Adol the gubernatorial standard bearer of the APC in the just concluded elections in Rivers state narrated the ordeal of his campaign team in the hands of political thugs and compromised law enforcement agents and thanked God because according to him “it could have been worse “.
Dr Dakuku thanked Governor Amaechi for standing with him in his decision not to tow the path of violence despite the pressure from within and outside his party following the level of violence meted on his supporters during the presidential elections and the security reports that the violent attacks on members of the APC might be worse in the governorship elections. He said he made up his mind that no matter what was going to happen he was not prepared to sacrifice any Rivers blood because of his ambition.
The well attended meeting which was anchored by Rev Essa Ogorry, was officiated by Rev George Izunwa among others.
