Spring 2017 men’s runway show has come and gone and we got some styles of the runway we seems to be obsessed over.
Gucci
The turtle neck and bandanna trend to try. but that will be when the weather allows it. By the way we’re low-key willing to sweat it out for this dapper style
Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen has been experimenting with facial jewelry for a few seasons now, but this collection featured opulent ear-to-nose pieces reminiscent of Janet Jackson circaRunaway. Paired with a clean suit and minimal lines, this statement piece is something we’ll be mustering up the courage to try all summer long.
Dolce & Gabbana
Expect a return of the flashy blazer, recently seen at Dolce & Gabbana’s Jazz Age-meets-Duckie-from-Pretty-in-Pink menswear collection. The tuxedo jacket, pictured here in gold brocade, will look just as slick with denim as it does with an LBD.
We don’t expect anyone to go full parachute chic like Prada’s menswear collection, but there is much to be inspired by. From windbreaker jackets to Teva-style footwear (that would look perfect with a white shirtdress), get on board with the Italian house’s outdoorsy runway.
The fedora is a polarizing accessory (leaving many shaking in their winklepicker boots) but this season opt for a wider brim in a bright color like this pink embroidered version by Bally and you’ll be good to go.
The patent trench may be our go-to this winter, but the satin version is our ideal summer coat. Seen at J.W.Anderson last week, the airy trench coat is made for cool summer nights with its mid-thigh hemline and three-quarter sleeves.
Varsity jackets, satin bombers—we’ve seen just about every style of the collarless jacket. Or so we thought until this heavy duty variation by A.P.C. popped up. If you’re the type to dig deep for the most authentic, origin-story-style, try the workwear brand carhartt for their original take on the cotton jacket.
Shirtless Suiting
we’re so into this Gucci styling, especially since it’s paired with the trend we’re still obsessed with, choker neckless.
Which style are you stealing first?
