Carlo Rossi, Kia & Others Partners With Nigeria Fashion Week

As arrangements towards the successful hosting of the 2014 edition of the Nigeria Fashion Week heat up, more and more partners are identifying with the event. The latest are Carlo Rossi and global automobile brand, Kia from Dana Motors.
Nigeria Fashion Week, which is celebrating its 12th edition, is put together by Legendary Gold Limited in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Trade & Investment, Culture & TourismNigerian Export Promotion Council and the World Fashion Organization. It is scheduled for the 19th – 21st November 2014 at the Lagos Oriental Hotel.
The Nigeria Fashion Week is the biggest fashion event in Nigeria with reputable national and international partners and collaborators. It has been a huge platform for manufacturers of garments, fabrics, fashion accessories, hair and beauty products to display their outstanding capabilities. Annually, it brings stakeholders in the fashion, beauty and hair industries together with the goal of creating a vibrant market by linking manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and the end users.
The Nigeria Fashion Week over the years has been able to reorient practitioners in the Nigerian fashion industry to be locally inspired by using locally made fabrics, accessories and designs. It annually prepares local producers of textiles, garments and fashion accessories for the international markets of Paris, Milan, New York etc. Over the years, it has transferred appropriate knowledge to small and medium scale entrepreneurs in the various fashion vocations through its workshops. This has created jobs and expertise for fashion designers, tailors, models, hair stylists, make-up artists, fashion photographers, producers of shoes, bags, jewelries etc.
