| Dame Patience Jonathan with group of women |
Do not ask where l have been as l know full well that l have been away. In fact dragged away by my curiosities when l found out that Auntie Ere, a Socialite l met recently knows someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows Uncle Joe (GEJ) for short; l was comfortable allowing her turn me into a handbag to be carried to every rally in my quest to break down the various human barriers separating me from touching the Ankara Garment of our dear Uncle Joe or Madame for that matter.
luckily for me the Elections which l still believe could not possibly have succeeded should they have taken place on the 28th February knowing what we know now, were postponed. It gave me an opportunity to get on the band wagon singing praises and zig zagging from one influencial friend to another. It seemed that the politicking became fiercer with the first lady throwing every triple-edged broken English at her detractors the type that would pulverize anyone it lands on or cause irreparable damage to their skin. I was there cheering her on from behind because they too were not mindful of her. was she to fold her hands or sew her lips together while people dared to insult our President let alone her darling....Never not if she could help it and many stood behind her as she spat her well formed words out day after day, Legislators wives and Governors wives also in toe. I am not one to be easily intimidated, but standing with these women can make you wish you could break a bank before the next campaign rally. luckily the campaign colors and prints took the stress of fashion out of the way but dare to look at their jewelry the difference becomes clear.
Their husbands are the highest paid Legislators in the World, correct me if am wrong but at $2m per annum little is left to the imagination. Auntie Ere is very comfortable in their midst and since she is also willing to accommodate my curiosities I hung out with her. Follow our antiques ......on my next outing.
