HEALTH CENTRE PAYS TRIBUTE TO TOYIN AIMAKHU



Yoruba movie actress Toyin Aimakhu-Johnson who has had controversial disputes recently, was honoured by an Abuja based health centre called Medicaid Diagnosis & Cancer.
The married actress who is a huge supporter of was paid a tribute that goes thus.
“TOYIN AIMAKHU JOHNSON is a popular Nigerian actress from Auchi, in Edo State. She came into the Industry in 2003. The last born from a family of five, Toyin has a National Diploma in Marketing from Iree Polytechnic, and studied Philosophy at the University of Ibadan. Toyin Aimakhu is married to the love of her life whom she also describes as her best friend, actor Adeniyi Johnson.
Over the years, she has produced, directed and featured in several Nigerian films, such as Alani Baba Labake and Ebimi ni. She has also received numerous awards.
The Nollywood industry was largely responsible for the GDP rebasing in 2014 which put Nigeria officially as Africa’s biggest economy with a GDP of £307bn.
Aside from the movie industry, she has many passionate causes which include #Cancer advocacy, #Fashion, #Politics and #Womensrights. She is constantly doing good that affects many lives and uses her fame positively.
