Printex: “Letter from Adam”

Congratulations to Printex for partnering with the producers of “Letter from Adam” which premiered at the Silver bird, Accra Ghana on the 19th September, 2014;

This is exactly what we advice all other manufacturers to do in order to promote African fabrics, many might say ‘we love your fabrics but what can we do with them? Well, seeing the various outfits that can be made into lovely dresses and head gears speak for themselves.

Many hand dyed fabrics are most lovely for home decoration and because they are hand produced they are all different. The Amafu fabrics of South Africa are a good example of ones that look so good for home decor. West African Batik on the other hand can be mixed with other plain materials to make casual work outfits.

The most appealing aspect of all these materials is that they are cotton and I am yet to feel a friendlier  fabric for warm climates than cotton, advantages of which include strenght, high absorbency, and inexpensive amongst others. The only problem one might have with cotton is that it could wrinkle easily depending on how one spreads it when wet as well as fades in sunlight, that also depends on the strength of the original dye and whether it is spread continuously in direct sunlight. Cotton also dries slowly but be rest assured that once it is dried it can feel really clean against your skin so go for Cotton African Fabrics today!
