16 Year Old Nigerian Model, Favour Lucky, Wins International Model Award In South Africa

Favour Luck – New Face of the Year 2014, African Fashion Awards
The beautiful international fashion model you see above, Favour Lucky, is now the title holder for African Fashion Awards “New Face Of The Year”, and yes she is still 16 years old signed to Isis Models, Nigeria.
Just a couple of years ago, the Nigerian beautiful was shedding tears after beating numerous of long legged girls at the Nigeria’s Next Super Model contest and we were proud to acknowledge her as one of Africa’s best models.
Ever since, she has working with some of Nigeria’s best designers, participated in Mercedes Benz Fahion Week Africa, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Cape Town, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Joburg, New York Fashion Week, 100 Black Week of America fashion show produced by Dwight Eubanks of Atlanta house wives in Atlanta Georgia and the Ethical Fashion Show, and all this before she has turned 17.
The road for Favour has not been easy, these words might puzzle some as she is doing quite well. However, I state this because Africa has not yet gotten grips with us creating our own international models. Had Favour accomplished what she has done in Europe or America, working with their major brands, we would all be waving banners with her name on it branded as and international super model, when the truth is she is even more stunning, already international, doing just as much work, and just as good as most of the current top black models in the outside Africa, all at the age of 16, need I say it again?
Favour Lucky – Nigeria’s Next Super Model
About half a year ago, a beautiful young lady, as young as 14 years old, won Nigeria’s Next Super Mode
It holds as the most popular model competition in Africa. and after seeing the images and footage, the organizer Joan (CEO of Isis Models) has received alot of credit for discovering a good model based upon her age, physique and beauty.
Some people have been a bit reserved because you can only really judge the potential of a model once they have developed a portfolio and executed a number of outfits on a runway. The latter was seen when she blew the crowd away at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.  A month and a few weeks ago. Journalists that attended MBFW spoke enthusiastically about her when giving us a review of the shows.
