take the pan-African stage and showcase their exquisite designs.
The fashion gala featured 16 shows over four days. More than 30 of Africa's top designers showcased their latest collections.

With the Kenyan fashion and textile industry experiencing rapid
growth and transformation lately, the inclusion of Kenyan labels such as
Kiko Romeo and Mille Collines in the runway line-up at the event is
evidence of Kenya's growing stature in the fashion world.
Kiko Romeo's 'Back to Our Roots' collection highlighted their African
pride while celebrating the brand's 18 years in the African fashion
business. It was a retrospective look at the label's various iconic
designs over the years and the present day creations. The warrior
princess print, textured woolens, chunky sequined tassels and cleavage
baring halters exemplified the new casual.
Kenyan-Rwandese label Mille Collines showcased the colourful
definition of their brand's distinctive collection; which brought life
to the runway with absolutely amazing pieces featuring an eclectic mix
of styles, ranging from cutting-edge to understated elegance. allAfrica.com
